HELP US ... HELP THEM

My HELPLINE department in Dignity Foundation was helping some 103 senior citizens with FREE monthly ration – providing Rice, Dal, Aatta, tea, coffee, and eight other items.

Suddenly, our donation dwindled last three months. So I had to tell the beneficiaries: we have to STOP ration due to paucity of funds. I myself could not bear the throat choking when I spoke to them. How it must have come to them as a shock. Later I learnt they have not been too successful in replacing this free supply....So if you set your mind to it you can feed a single person for just Rs. 890/- a month or Rs. 1140/- for a couple per month.

During our home visits we also found they are also badly in need of Mobility Aids: Walking stick (Rs 800/-approx) /spectacles (1000/-approx) hearing aids ( Rs 2000/- approx) . You can either buy these and send to us or send us a cheque for the desired amount as listed above favouring “Dignity Foundation”
